Noddfa Events

Women Word Spirit

(formerly CWN) celebrated their 25th Anniversary here in Noddfa – 24-27 July 2009. There was time for sharing what WWS (CWN) has meant to us, a creativity session and sharing on our dreams for WWS, as well as liturgical celebrations and party time.

Catholic People’s Week

(CPW) was held from the 8th to 15th August with input from Mike Monaghan and other members of CPW, as well as Fr. Owen Hardwick and Sally Trench (famous for ‘Bury me in my Boots’)who spoke about experiences in Bosnia and South Africa.

We just want to let you know that the cock has been behaving himself very well lately!

Sr. Patricia’s Golden Jubilee

Sr. Patricia McGrath who has been in Noddfa for 2 years now, after returning from Zambia, celebrated her Golden Jubilee on 22nd August 2009. Her five brothers and three sisters and their families were present, so it was a very lively occasion. The Eucharist was celebrated by a friend from Ferrybank, Fr. Canice McGinn and our Parish Priest, Fr. James Fealey.

Coffee Morning

We held a very successful coffee morning on October 7th, raising over £400. We wish to thank all those who helped and all who came and spent their money!
